Indie Group from Kortrijk wins European Seal of e-Excellence award
The European Seal of e-Excellence awards were bestowed at CeBIT in Hanover on Wednesday, 3 March. Indie Group won a Platinum Seal of e-Excellence – an award from the highest category.
This prestigious award is conferred on European ICT and digital media companies that have promoted their digital products and services through innovative marketing. The award has been given annually since 2003 by the European Media Forum (EMF).
Innovative marketing
The jury appreciated Indie’s innovative marketing approach for their top product Cognistreamer® Innovation Portal. “In spite of the crisis, we have never stopped investing in our products and in the marketing thereof,” explains Hein De Keyzer, general manager of Indie Group. “We are active on several fronts for our marketing actions: on our website and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter); through blogging, newsletters, conferences and networking.”
To keep a finger on the pulse of an ever changing market, Indie Group regularly holds ‘user-experience events’ during which users give feedback on the product and its applications. Hein De Keyzer: “We provide our clients also with a website where they can post their questions and report problems, but also find answers and documentation.”
